Where did your Table Tennis journey begin?
It all started in my club in Ostrava where my Dad used to play, this is where it all began!
You seem to have a fabulous temperament, how important do you feel the mental side of Table Tennis is and why?
I try to control my temperament as it’s really important to stay focussed and be mentally into a match otherwise it is very difficult to win tough matches.
How do you ensure you always get the best out of yourself in training?
Sometimes it’s really hard but you must look at it as an investment into your career. If you were to invest money you would not sit back and take it easy, and so I take the same attitude with my training. Work hard on your investment and then take the price you get, this keeps me motivated!
If you could choose one player to watch, who would it be and why?
Has to be Waldner! I admire his style a lot and the way he plays is so satisfying to watch..

What are your goals and ambitions for the next few years?
Simply, to be the best I can be and try to achieve some good results against the good senior players.
Finally, What are your favourite 2 drills?
Without serve it’s B/H block v all table and with serve it’s probably when my partner can serve anywhere to my B/H or short or ½ long to my F/H.
