One of the most important things you can do to improve your table tennis game is keep track of your matches.
Keeping a match journal will help you track what you did well, and also identify areas where you could improve in the future. It’s easy to forget what happened in a match after it’s over and done with. Keeping a record of your matches will help you remember exactly how they went down, which can be helpful when it comes time to review your performance or train for future matches.
If you use our app TTfit, we automatically create a match journal for you as soon as you enter results from any match. You can then use this journal to track what went well and what didn’t go so well during each match. This information can then be used to make adjustments in training before your next match!
It’s also important to note that progress is difficult to measure—especially when it comes to sports like table tennis where there are so many different factors involved (hand eye coordination, footwork, physical fitness). By keeping records of past performances and comparing them from year-to-year, you may be able to see if there are any trends emerging over time (such as getting better with practice).
